You’re kidding, right?
You don’t have to be born in the US to be a citizen. No one is going to challenge him on this. I don’t know what your sources are on this (”Members of Congress have expressed this fear and proposed a more explicit law,” eh? I don’t see how you could get much more explicit.) but if anything comes about because of this, I’d be shocked.

Thank you for the comment. It is nice to hear the opinion of a Chinese resident in regard to their gymnastics team. Just because China has a larger population than any other country that doesn’t mean that those girls are 16. It is biological skepticism that keeps critics asking the question of whether these girls are 16. They just don’t look 16. When LinLin smiles it looks like she just lost her first tooth, 16 year olds do not weigh 67 pounds; unless they are malnurished. I still doubt that they are 16, one gymnist even competed last year at the age of 14 and now she is 16??? Something is fishy.

i am chinese,i don’t agree with you .those athlete ages are true actually.China population is 1.3 billion ，we can select more excellent and dainty women who are over 16 age!
